Boston Harbor Shipyard and Marina is looking for full-time year-round boatyard staff. Qualifications: Ability to ascend and descend a ladder Ability to work in all weather conditions Ability to work in confined spaces Ability to lift 50 pounds Eagerness to engage in a growing, fast paced, and industry-leading company Responsibilities The Yard Hand is responsible for assisting with carrying out tasks required to successfully achieve the service department objectives Haul, block and launch boats Work closely with the Yard Foreman and assist fellow crewmembers as needed Operate yard machinery including 50-Ton Travelift, 35-Ton hydraulic trailer, forklift, power washer, etc Grounds maintenance and marina cleanliness Availability to work overtime when required Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisor Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training Consistently treats others with dignity and respect Always communicates effectively and courteously with fellow teammates and members Continuously follows policies and procedures while seeking out new and better ways of accomplishing duties Gladly provides responsive, and high level of service to our teammates and members Eagerly puts forth the extra effort to accomplish duties Benefits Competitive Pay Health and Dental 401(k) with match Paid Time Off
