Part-Time Security Officers Needed

We are seeking unarmed part-time security officers for day shift opportunities, in the range of time from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Shift

times on average will be between eight (8) to nine (9) hours in length. On Saturdays the shift times are typically four (4) to five (5) hours in length from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. You can work one (1) day, or as many days as you would like each week, and those days will fall in the range of Monday through Saturday. You will have a set schedule; however, you may be assigned to multiple locations. You will be working alone, in a climate-controlled environment and you will be required to stand and greet customers and complete perimeter patrol rounds when required. There are opportunities to sit throughout your shift.

Your Responsibilities:

• Staying alert and aware of your surroundings throughout the course of your shift.
• Greeting all customers that enter the building and monitoring them while in the building.
• Completing hourly patrol rounds internally and externally when required during your shift.
• Understand and maintain general post instructions for assigned post and shift by being the expert in all facets of the operation.
• Ensure all logs are being completed and seek advice as needed.
• Control, monitor and escalate issues to the respective authorities, the client and GSS.
• Maintain practical knowledge of all additional and emergency post instructions that are called for by the client.
• Respond to incidents and document the event with accuracy and diligence.
• Document and report any property damage and special occurrences.
• Provide unparalleled Customer Service, Public Relations and have an impeccable image at all times, in order to exceed our client's expectations.

Requirements:

• Part-Time Day shifts to include Saturdays.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent observation skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed in all situations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be a minimum 21 years of age.
• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or military service record.
• Must have a valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) or willing to apply for one.
• Must have a 20-hour training certificate or complete within in 30 days of employment.
• All applicants must complete a pre-employment screening process.
• Maintain an impeccable image and adhere to our professional military grooming standards, which includes:
• Must have mature demeanor, personality and attitude.
• Must possess strong customer service skills, public relation skills and the ability to interact well with people of diverse cultures and backgrounds.
• Possess strong communication skills, both verbally, written and non-verbal.
• Must maintain a working telephone at all times.
• Must have reliable means of transportation.
