Job Description

Room Attendants perform a combination of tasks, which maintains clean and organized guest rooms, while offering friendly, personal, positive service to all guests.
Key Accountabilities:

Cleans and maintains guest rooms, floors, floor stations, and storage areas, ensuring guest comfort according to hotel standards and procedures.
Complete all credit transactions by the end of your shift; report any unfinished transactions to your supervisor before leaving.
Provide courteous assistance to guests and communicate any requests or concerns to the Supervisor or Housekeeping Management.
Report any deficiencies, damages, recurring issues, missing or broken items, stains, or unusual circumstances to the Supervisor or Housekeeping Management.
Implement VIP designation procedures in line with the Peninsula Service Principles and Standards.
Forward all lost and found items to the housekeeping office or Security.
Follow all emergency regulations and departmental policies and procedures.

General Requirements:

2 to 3 years' experience in a similar role; preferably in a luxury hotel.
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work as a team and with a diverse team.
Ability to communicate and read effectively in English.
Standing up to 8 hours and ability to lift 30lbs.
