Affordable Housing Property Manager – Section 42
Location: St. Paul, MN
Pay Range: $60,000–$75,000/year

Career Strategies is currently seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a Section 42 (Affordable Housing Tax Credit) property in St. Paul, MN. This is a direct-hire opportunity with a well-established management company committed to quality affordable housing.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of a tax credit (LIHTC) community
Ensure compliance with Section 42 regulations, income certifications, and annual recertifications
Supervise leasing, maintenance, and office staff
Prepare budgets and monitor financial performance
Maintain resident satisfaction and uphold fair housing standards
Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience managing a Section 42/LIHTC property
Strong knowledge of affordable housing regulations and compliance procedures
Experience with rent collection, budgeting, and staff supervision
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficiency with property management software preferred (e.g., Yardi, RealPage)
