The successful candidate will join the Positioning Business Unit's Americas team, supporting one of the most dynamic and high-impact areas of our business. As a leader in Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) test solutions, we work with the world's most advanced technology companies across aerospace, defense, automotive, telecommunications, and semiconductors. Our Professional Services team plays a vital role in delivering technical expertise, customer insight, and hands-on support that drive customer success and business growth. We are looking for a Professional Services Engineer to join our team as a rising star - someone who is excited to build their career in a customer-facing, technically diverse role. Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline from an accredited university; or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a customer-facing role. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with key stakeholders across both internal teams and customer organizations. Demonstrated ability to manage or contribute to complex technical relationships, with a professional presence in customer-facing environments. A solid understanding of the test and measurement industry, or a willingness to quickly ramp up in this domain. The ability to draft Statements of Work (SoWs) in collaboration with sales, engineering, and customer teams, clearly outlining project scope, deliverables, and timelines. Comfortable in delivering training and technical presentations to both internal and external audiences, clearly articulating the value and benefits of Spirent's solutions. The ability to work independently or collaboratively within cross-functional teams across regions and time zones. Well-organized with strong time management skills and a proactive approach to meeting deadlines and customer expectations. A willingness to travel domestically (~15%) and internationally (at least once per year) to support customer engagements and team activities. Knowledge of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) position, navigation, and timing concepts, including constellations and segments, navigation data, orbital parameters of space vehicles, and GNSS reception challenges, is desirable. Simulation experience is a plus. Experience working on multi-band GNSS chips or post-processing is desirable. Knowledge of MEMS sensors is nice to have. GNSS background with involvement in GNSS PNT technologies and signals Aerospace, Automotive, or semiconductor market experience is a plus. Annualized Salary Wage Range : $100,000 - $125,000 Spirent applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience at or in line with the minimum requirements.
