The Pines at Poughkeepsie, our beautiful 4-star CMS-rated 200-bed skilled nursing facility, is seeking an experienced licensed Nursing Home Administrator. A member of the National Health Care Associates (NHCA) family of facilities, with a 60-bed Subacute and 40-bed Memory Care, the Pines maintains Preferred Provider status with multiple healthcare provider entities, as well as a great reputation, 300-employees (including many long-term), and a solid group of department heads. The new Administrator will have the opportunity to partner up with a Regional Director of Operations who has served NHCA with distinction for the last 15 years. What You'll Do As a Nursing Home Administrator, you will be the chief executive and entrepreneurial leader of your center. You will develop and execute a strategy for operational excellence and growth, setting goals and objectives aligned with the mission. Your leadership will shape the culture of the team and drive excellence in care delivery, resident satisfaction, and operational efficiency. The Nursing Home Administrator has 24-hour accountability and is responsible for the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care at the center, while achieving positive clinical outcomes, resident and employee satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of facility operations, including staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance. What You'll Bring Qualifications of a Nursing Home Administrator include: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field. Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) in the state of operation. Proven experience as an LNHA in a skilled nursing facility; for-profit experience preferred. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and standards of care in Long-Term Care. Visionary mindset with a focus on innovation and quality improvement. Commitment to resident-centered care and excellence in healthcare delivery. Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both.
