The Opportunity
We are looking for a creative, collaborative, and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our Austin, TX office. In this role, you'll work closely with a team of architects and designers to develop and deliver thoughtful interior environments. From space planning and finish selections to documentation and client presentations, you'll contribute to projects from concept through construction.

Responsibilities
Lead the development of all architectural concepts for interior projects, including full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating interior design assignments.
Prepare presentation materials and renderings to clearly communicate design direction
Coordinate design efforts with architects and engineering consultants
Research products and systems to support creative, sustainable, and practical solutions
Produce design documentation through all project phases using Revit
Represent FGMA in client meetings, industry events, and vendor presentations
Mentor junior staff and contribute to a positive, team-oriented studio culture
Support marketing and business development efforts as needed
Provides direction to junior team members for accuracy and compliance with fundamental building code, accessibility, and other regulatory requirements.
What You Bring 6-10 years of interior design experience
A professional degree in Interior Design from an accredited program
Interior Design licensure preferred-or a clear plan to pursue licensure within one year
LEED or WELL Building Design accreditation preferred (or on path to accreditation)
Strong design sensibility, communication, and presentation skills
Proficiency in Revit and 3D modeling/rendering tools
A collaborative spirit and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
