Full-Charge Bookkeeper

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeping in a office in Shreveport, LA.

Full-Charge Bookkeeper Details:

• Temporary position
• $24.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• Manage all aspects of general ledger accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Process payroll and maintain accurate employee compensation records.
• Prepare and submit quarterly and year-end tax filings.
• Generate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
• Maintain budgeting and financial forecasting to support business planning.

Full-Charge Bookkeeper Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a full-charge role.
• Microsoft Excel Intermediate experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
