Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work  ON-SITE with our client in Concord, ON . Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• The client is seeking a skilled CNC Setup Operator with expertise in 3, 4, and 5-axis milling machines to join our dynamic team. 
• The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a heavy manufacturing environment and a commitment to health and safety standards.
• Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling machines to produce precision components.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and CAD/CAM files.
• Ensure that all machines are properly calibrated and maintained for optimal performance.
• Conduct initial and in-process quality inspections using appropriate measurement tools.
• Troubleshoot and adjust setups to resolve issues and maintain product quality.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, following all health and safety guidelines.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 / hr.

Hours: 40  hrs/Week.

Length: Temp to permanent.

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in operating and setting up CNC milling machines, including 3, 4, and 5-axis machines.
• Minimum 3 years of Milling  Machine experience.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and quality control processes.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Background in a heavy manufacturing environment, such as aerospace or automotive industries.
• Good understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good commitment to workplace health and safety practices.

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
• Physical ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs.
