Required Skill: Current CDL License

Overview

We are seeking a CDL A Flatbed Driver to join our Team in the Grand Rapids, MI area. Overnight trips will be the exception. Your truck will be a Quad Axle 80,000# Flatbed with Conestoga Tarp System. This position offers competitive pay and a great work-life balance.

Responsibilities

Transporting Injection and Compression molds and materials using a 80,000 GVW truck
Ensuring safe and timely delivery of products
Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
Maintaining accurate logs and records
Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Interact with Coworkers, Customers and Vendors in a professional manner
Maintain clean and organized truck(s), Including basic maintenance

Qualifications

Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record
Air Brake Endorsement
Previous experience driving flatbed trucks preferred
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in all weather conditions
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Comfort driving a manual transission truck
Reliable and punctual
Great Communication and customer service skills
Mechanical troubleshooting skills
flexiblity on your staring time in order to meet customer expectations.

You should be proficient in:

Current CDL License
