We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Ponte Vedra, Florida. In this role, you will assist with a variety of accounting functions, including accounts payable, payroll review, and general bookkeeping tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and efficiency in all financial operations.

Responsibilities:
• Process and input approved accounts payable invoices into the accounting system, ensuring timely payment and accurate record-keeping.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to meet departmental objectives and address member needs effectively.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and supporting documentation.
• Manage routine filing and participate in special projects as assigned.
• Facilitate the distribution of member monthly statements, including the entry of ancillary charges.
• Submit monthly accounts receivable payment files to the bank and ensure proper reconciliation.
• Record cash receipts data into the billing software with precision and consistency.
• Perform clerical tasks such as photocopying, faxing, and preparing correspondence.
• Conduct monthly testing and verification of member statements to ensure accuracy.
• Review bi-weekly payroll, monitor approvals, and ensure compliance with established processes.• At least 2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Demonstrated ability to handle invoice processing with accuracy and efficiency.
• Experience managing payroll for small teams (under 100 employees).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Familiarity with accounting software and billing systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
